I've already got a host of other ways to showcase my own work, but not my fanfiction on its own. The title is a bit tongue in cheek because these is my additions to the works of other people. I'm a bit lazy, so I've got a blanket disclaimer to explain that I don't own any of the characters or settings used in my stories. For the most part they belong to the Tolkien Estate and interested parties. The rest belong to DC comics, Warner Brothers and J.K. Rowling, among others.
What it is
I write for a variety of fandoms. My latest fanfic foray was Terminator, would you believe - all I could think of for the Archives of Excellence February Writing Challenge, From the Sidelines, was that scene where the Terminator nicks this geezer's truck. The challenge is about taking a character who only appears once and writing about him. Or her. I've had a few in already.
I post my stories on a variety of websites, but the only one that allows all the fandoms I want to try my hand at is fanfiction.net, where quality is variable, to say the least. For once, I'll actually host my stories here instead of linking to them, and people can leave comments if they want to.
Yes, it's a vanity project, but it's a bit of fun, and I like to be creative.
